Selections from Past President Gerald Mead's Historical Collection of BSA Presidents and the BSA History Boards are on display for the month of March at the Buffalo/Niagara Airport on Genesee Street, Cheektowaga, NY in their Airport Gallery located in the main lobby, before security gates, to the right. Viewing is during main Airport open hours.

Commemorating the 115th anniversary of the Buffalo Society of Artists, this exhibition consisted of artworks from the Gerald Mead Collection by 21 past-presidents of the Society and four photomontage panels chronicling the history of the Society. Included in the exhibition were artworks by Frank C. Penfold, William Schwanekamp, Rixford U. Jennings, Richard Sigafoos, Arthur Kowalski, Arthur H. Lindberg, Larry Griffis Jr., George Palmer, Carlo Nisita, Frank Altamura, Alma Slotkin, Donald R. Haug, Norine Spurling, Russell Ram, Larry Bell, Rita Argen Auerbach, Victor Shanchuk Jr., Gerald Mead, Ellen Ryan, Donna Jordan Dusel and Coni Minnecci.

All summer, the Buffalo Society of Artists will host showcases of the finest artists in the area at the Artpark Gallery, located adjacent to the Mainstage Theater. The Spring Show ran from April 7 through April 28, 2006 at the Fineline Gallery, 118 Sterling Avenue, Buffalo, NY. It was juried by Harvey Breverman, distinguished Professor of Art at SUNYAB.
